I don't know about you, but we are glad to say "goodbye" to this month of January that has had snow, ice and below zero temperatures. Many of our residents who are used to getting outside for walks on our campus or taking a joy ride on one of our buses to see the neighborhoods and towns have gotten "cabin fever" during this tough winter weather.
The good news is they didn't have to shovel snow, worry about frozen pipes, stand in line for bread and milk in the store before another winter storm hit, concern themselves with the propane shortage, their garage door wouldn't go up, or a host of other problems the rest of us Hoosiers encountered in the last 31 days!
I am proud to report that our staff made it in every day, our facilities held up to the challenges, and residents were transported to medical providers as needed. Many mornings as we fought the elements to get here, it was reassuring to go pass one of our 15 dining rooms and see that our residents were enjoying a nice hot breakfast in the comfort of their home, right on time!! Sound good? So what are you waiting for? Contact a member of our Sales Team at 317-736-7185 and learn about the options for your retirement living at Franklin United Methodist Community.
